"Could you lend me a hand?" |
His story is given credence when the other arms in the study similarly go haywire, and Brian takes a crash course in hacking to prove that the arm could have been controlled remotely. The trail leads from one hacker to another, but to Boyle's distress it turns out that his friend was in on the 'prank' and took advantage of the mass hack to kill his own wife and blame the arm.
Meanwhile, Brian's dad tries to persuade him to sue the FBI for release from the NZT trials, telling him that it isn't NZT that makes him special. When Brian makes it clear that he doesn't want out, his dad meets with Naz and tells her to look after his son or she's going to jail.
'Arm-ageddon' is a fun episode, but does not significantly advance the arc of the series. There is some fun character work, however, especially with Rebecca trying to join in Brian's arm-based punnery.
