No screen shots that really grabbed me, so here's Sif looking cool. |
Agents of SHIELD's favourite and most affordable Asgardian guest star returns, rendered amnesiac by an alien weapon. There's a lot of fun to be had from a version of Sif who only recalls her basic education, which includes Kree history and what aliens breathe nitrogen, and the clash with an essentially decent but deeply hardline Kree soldier. The episode also serves to expand on the origins of the Diviners and the Terrigen effect.
The revelation of Skye's powers and Fitz's complicity in concealing them is a little rushed. People seem very keen to condemn Fitz for keeping secrets, but even if they aren't as jazzed to kill Skye as he assumed, it wasn't an unreasonable thought to have with Simmons going off on one about destroying all monsters.
The Bobbi and Mack conspiracy takes an interesting twist this week, with dialogue which seems to cement their loyalty to SHIELD even as they work against them. Oh, and Mack apparently has some issues involving proximity to violence, and he gets to choke out Lance Hunter, and that's always going to be funny.
